Travel MRI Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging

American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist with at least 1 year of MRI experience, ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification, and BLS for a Level III trauma center assignment.Job Details•Work in a hospital-based MRI department at a Level III trauma center,•Evening shifts, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday, 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM,•On-call rotation required during evenings and weekends,•No floating to other units or facilities is required,•Patient population includes adult and potentially pediatric cases typical for a trauma facility,•Uses Philips MRI equipment; experience with Philips systems is required,•Documentation is completed in Epic EMR,Job Requirements•Minimum of 1 year recent, relevant MRI technologist experience,•Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association,•Valid ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification,•Experience operating Philips MRI equipment required,•Must provide Social Security Number and driver's license for consideration,•Modules must be completed prior to start, averaging 4 hours,•Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; locals may be considered at a reduced rate,•First-time travelers are not accepted for this position,•Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must have at least a one-year separation,Additional Information•Responsibilities include performing high-quality MRI scans and ensuring patient safety in a trauma environment,•On-call responsibilities include covering weekday evenings and weekends on a rotation basis among staff,•Black pants and teal top scrubs are required,•Free onsite parking is available,•Holiday and extended time-off requests are subject to facility approval; all RTO must be declared at the time of offer,•Candidates should be prepared for potential emergency assignments during hurricane season (June-November),•Locals within 60 miles may be considered at facility discretion for a lower rate,•Completing required modules is a pre-start condition of employment,],•hash,:•6738279764620760190,
