Qualifications:
Educational Background Bachelor's Degree: In Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or 5+ years of related experience in the field. Certifications Relevant Certifications: •Certifications in the fields of: Service Now Catalog, Ansible, Java Script, Python Experience Years of Experience: •Minimum of 5+ years of experience in automation efforts Hands-On Experience: •Strong experience in automating workflows using Python, Ansible, Java Script •CICD platform testing Technical Skills ServiceNow: •Understanding of Service Now Catalog •Experience with ServiceNow APIs and scripting Python: •Experience with Python scripting for automation tasks. Ansible: •Strong experience with Ansible for configuration management and orchestration. Version Control: •Proficiency with version control systems like Git. Soft Skills Problem-Solving: •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Communication: •Excellent verbal and written communication skills. •Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Teamwork: •Ability to work effectively in a team environment. •Ability to work independently •Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts in different disciplines
Responsibilities:
Design and Implementation Automation Strategy: •Develop and implement an automation strategy from collaborating with Subject matter experts Scripting and Playbooks: •Write Python scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate workflows •Develop reusable Ansible roles and modules for common tasks. Integration: •Integrate various workflows using REST APIs and webhooks. Operations and Maintenance Monitoring: •Monitor automation workflows and ensure they are running as expected. •Set up alerts and notifications for critical issues. Troubleshooting: •Diagnose and resolve issues related to automation scripts and playbooks. •Perform root cause analysis and implement solutions to prevent recurrence. Documentation Technical Documentation: •Create and maintain detailed documentation for automation scripts, playbooks, and procedures. •Document incident responses and resolutions. Collaboration Stakeholder Collaboration: •Work closely with application teams, network engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of automation solutions. Continuous Improvement Process Improvement: •Identify opportunities for process optimization and efficiency improvements.
