We are seeking a skilled Building Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. This role includes maintaining common areas, meeting spaces, restaurants, fitness centers, and pools, as well as performing preventative maintenance for guest rooms and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment. If you are proactive, dependable, and skilled in repairs, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
• Conduct regular upkeep of guest rooms, public areas, and mechanical systems to ensure smooth operations. • Address repair needs in plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and landscaping. • Perform routine maintenance tasks for amenities like pools, fitness areas, and meeting spaces. • Assist with pool, sauna, and fitness center maintenance, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. • Ensure the safety and cleanliness of public spaces through daily inspections.
Qualifications
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds as needed. • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays. • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repairs. • Proficiency in PMS Rooms Management, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
