13 weeks (September 3, 2025 - December 3, 2025) Guaranteed Hours:
36 hours per week Shift Schedule:
12-hour day shifts (3 shifts/week) Holiday Coverage:
Must be available for all holidays during assignment; no RTO (Requested Time Off) can be approved Estimated Weekly Pay:
$2310 - $2470 Labor & Delivery RN Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - eligible for Alaska nursing jobs Minimum 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, NRP Experience with electronic charting systems (Evident CPSI preferred) Strong communication, clinical, and teamwork skills Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to laboring mothers and newborns in a clinical setting Monitor and interpret fetal and maternal status; respond promptly to changes in patient condition Assist with labor and delivery procedures, including vaginal and cesarean births Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care Maintain accurate documentation using the CPSI electronic charting system Promote a safe, supportive environment for patients and healthcare staff
