Travel Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer - Vascular

American Traveler is seeking a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of dedicated vascular experience and current BLS and RVT or RVS certification.Job Details•Work in both outpatient and inpatient vascular clinic settings,•Daily schedule is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with a weekend rotation and Thursday off if working a weekend,•Patients include all ages with diagnoses such as PVD, CAD, heart failure, CVA, venous insufficiency, renal/celiac/SMA stenosis, renal transplant, and thoracic outlet syndrome,•Average caseload of 8-12 vascular ultrasound patients per day,•Specialized vascular procedures performed including carotid, arterial, venous, DVT/reflux studies, vein mapping, hemodialysis grafts, AAA, endograft, aorta exams, PVR/segmental pressures, and arterial bypass grafts,•Uses Epic EMR (required) and VascuPro reporting system with Philips Epic Elite ultrasound and Parks PVR equipment,•Floating to the High Point outpatient lab may be required,•No on-call required,•Schedule is created every 13 weeks for travelers,Job Requirements•Minimum 2 years of dedicated vascular ultrasound experience required,•Current BLS certification required,•ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) or CCI Registered Vascular Sonographer (RVS) certification required,•Epic EMR experience required,•Must be proficient in performing a wide range of vascular studies and procedures as noted,•First-time travelers are welcome,•License required if applicable,Additional Information•Main responsibilities include performing comprehensive vascular ultrasound examinations and documenting findings in Epic,•Supportive team with strong department leadership and peer collaboration,•Three-day departmental orientation provided,•Travelers will be scheduled to work Thanksgiving and Christmas Day only for holidays,•Requests for time off must be approved prior to contract acceptance, with at least four weeks notice required for other RTO,•Black scrubs are required,•Free parking available,•Department has a traveler-friendly, teamwork-oriented culture,],•hash,:•10719887991720377575,
