Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience and current ARRT or equivalent CT certification for an evening shift hospital assignment.Job Details•Hospital-based CT Scan unit,•Evening 8-hour shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM,•Work schedule includes weekends and potential on-call responsibilities,•Patient population includes diverse inpatient and outpatient cases,•Use of Epic EMR system; EMR experience preferred,•Assignments may require floating to other locations within a 60-mile radius, potentially including duties outside the original assignment per policy,Job Requirements•Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required,•Registered with ARRT (CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T), CNMT, or state CT registry; or ARRT(R) with CT training,•BLS certification through AHA required,•High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred,•Active license required-no pending licenses accepted; license required if applicable,•Ability to start IVs and administer contrast as needed,Additional Information•Responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety and following ALARA radiation standards,•Prepare and position patients for exams, provide instructions, and address emotional and physical needs,•Document and report patient conditions, equipment issues, and unusual occurrences as necessary,•Maintain technical equipment and clean work areas following department procedures,•Contribute to department accreditation, process improvement, and participate in ongoing education and clinical training for staff and students,•FLU vaccine required for assignments during flu season (Nov 1 - Mar 31); only medical exemptions permitted with physician documentation,•60-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates accepted as travelers,•Must be adaptable to rapidly changing technologies, department needs, and priorities,],•hash,:•3230356389374214689,
