Position Overview
We are excited to launch a newly created
Procurement Coordinator
role to strengthen our growing operations. In this pivotal position, you will help ensure the uninterrupted supply of virgin and recycled plastic resins and related raw materials, striking a balance between cost, quality, and delivery performance. You'll collaborate closely with suppliers, the materials team, and cross-functional partners to keep our manufacturing lines running smoothly and efficiently.

What You'll Do
Place & Manage Orders Review item shortage report and other reorder information. Confer with the procurement Specialist Track status of in-progress purchase orders Release weekly needs for VMI items to target vendors Maintain and update purchase order records in the ERP system Close incomplete POs as needed Process 'Reclaim' purchases and maintain reclaim provider on-site inventories Supply/Inventory management
Process monthly cycle count information Compare cycle counts to on-hand balances, prepare stock adjustments as needed Hot Stamp Ordering
Receive and review requested artwork from Customer Service Review request with technical experts or other knowledgeable persons Maintain HS die log Communicate unapproved artwork regularly Payables maintenance
Assemble invoices, receivers, and purchase orders in the SharePoint system for vendor invoice approvals Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with the Procurement Specialist and alongside finance, sales, operations, and logistics to resolve procurement issues and concerns Assist with other projects or tasks as needed What You'll Bring
Experience:
Experience in procurement or supply chain in a manufacturing or plastics environment is preferred, not mandatory Strong negotiation, analytical, and critical thinking abilities Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) Flexible, detail-oriented, and eager to grow in a newly created role Professional work ethics: We ask that cell phone use be limited to breaks
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or a related field preferred
