Sysco 19 hours ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Summary The Sr. Infrastructure Project Manager will coordinate initiatives across multiple product teams. They will utilize agile, as well as conventional principles and methodologies to ensure successful project implementation. This position will ensure all project teams understand task dependencies, timelines, and project implementation strategies. It will also serve to remove impediments, provide communication across teams and management regarding project status, risks, and accomplishments. The role involves taking ownership of a portfolio of products, features, components, or solutions, leading teams, and engaging directly with customers to deliver high-quality, scalable products. Responsibilities Drive team efficiencies through adhering to established standards and principles. Understand waterfall methodology, SCRUM, and Kanban frameworks and demonstrate the ability to apply across complex projects. Facilitate project team meetings, daily stand-ups, iteration planning, pilots/demos, and retrospectives to ensure successful implementation and continuous improvement. Identify critical path tasks and schedule appropriately to meet project goals. Assist leadership in arranging product backlogs to maximize value and strategic direction. Help project teams to avoid and remove obstacles. Communicate risks, issues, achievements, and improvements to relevant audiences. Assess team maturity and provide guidance to improve project delivery. Focus on delivering value and process improvement. Promote collaboration across cross-functional teams. Demonstrate competency in managing multiple large projects and resources. Foster an environment of continuous learning and improvement. Work effectively in a matrix environment and communicate with diverse stakeholders. Organize and facilitate meetings to resolve issues and manage risks. Create an environment motivating team excellence and collaboration. Resolve escalated issues and act as a coach during conflicts. Adapt to changing conditions and adjust project plans accordingly. Lead and guide project teams, set priorities, and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Develop staffing plans based on strategic objectives. Support IT business case creation and consider financial data in decisions. Communicate with stakeholders and deliver technical presentations. Identify risks and develop solutions. Serve as an industry authority and thought leader. Qualifications BS Degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related. Master's Degree or related experience preferred. Minimum 10 years of IT or related experience. Minimum 5 years of leadership experience. Experience with Agile methodologies preferred. Professional Skills Implement project management principles and methodologies. Strong leadership and team development skills. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to build partnerships and manage multiple priorities. Proven organizational and time management skills. Physical Demands Regular sitting, standing, walking, and use of hands and fingers.
