Part Time Hours: Two days per week with Sunday mornings:
- Monday & Tuesday: 5:00 AM - 10:00 AM
- Sunday: 6:00 AM - 9:30 AM
- Shift end-time may vary, based on the number of patients remaining in the lobby

Your Job as a Clinic Safety Liaison (Security Guard):
The Clinic Safety Liaison/Security Guard is responsible for monitoring persons and/or vehicles entering or leaving the Clinic property. The Clinic Safety Liaison/Security Guard provides support to ensure a safe environment, is responsible for communicating all concerns to their supervisor, takes a lead role for various light maintenance and environmental services duties at the Clinic, and performs routine safety inspections of Clinic monitoring devices.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assists, directs and monitors all persons entering and leaving the Clinic property, including emergency vehicles and personnel;
- Professionally interact with staff and patients at all times;
- Monitors parking area (at minimum of twice per hour) and lobby to ensure that no loitering or misconduct takes place; reporting all concerns to director immediately;
- Keeps accurate notes reporting within various systems as outlined by Clinic standards;
- Communicates regarding incoming admissions, visits and deliveries to appropriate staff;
- Performs light maintenance duties and repairs; including touch-up painting, emptying and picking up trash, changing light bulbs, cleaning spills and various repairs.
- Performs regular safety checks, including smoke detectors, locked doors, alarm systems, etc;
- May perform other duties as assigned.
Your Education, Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED, preferred.
- Prior experience in security, corrections, law enforcement, or military
- Experience working in a healthcare or patient/customer facing setting preferred
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in healthcare, behavioral health, or substance use treatment settings
- Excellent observational skills and good judgment
- Ability to de-escalate tense situations calmly and professionally
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact respectfully and compassionately with patients, visitors, and staff
- Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA compliance)
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Must be comfortable with working in an opioid treatment program/recovery environment
