Hydraulic Mechanic
We are seeking a skilled in-shop hydraulic mechanic responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining hydraulic systems and components. This role involves working with equipment such as cylinders, pumps, and hoses, ensuring that all systems function correctly and efficiently. There is no travel required for this position.
Troubleshoot, identify, and diagnose problems within hydraulic systems and components.
Perform repairs, maintenance, and preventative maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
Install, assemble, and disassemble hydraulic systems and components.
Demonstrate proficiency in understanding and working with various hydraulic components, including cylinders, pumps, valves, hoses, and filters.
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand system designs and procedures.
Conduct tests and evaluations to ensure proper system function and identify potential issues.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and testing results.
Source replacement parts and negotiate costs with suppliers.
Electrical skills and troubleshooting abilities.
Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
Experience with pneumatics and hydraulics.
Strong mechanical experience.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
Experience in a production/manufacturing shop.
Experience as a service tech from a truck shop.
Experience in welding, diesel mechanics, and hydraulic system repair and assembly.
Great attention to detail and motivation to learn.
Willingness to work in tight spaces and at heights.
Clean driving record to drive service trucks.

Work in a large, temperature-controlled, and organized mechanic shop. While the job requires getting hands-on and may not be glamorous, it involves working on your hands and knees and can get dirty. The shop may be dimly lit, with a focused and diligent team.
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
