Pump Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Pump Mechanic to join our team. This role involves performing preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment, specifically pumps, to ensure minimal downtime and maximum safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on industrial pumps and related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel engines, generators, and air compressors.
• Utilize skills in electrical, hydraulics, mechanical, and engine repair.
• Manage fleet maintenance, including brake and transmission repairs.
• Use hand tools effectively to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Participate in rotational on-call duties for urgent equipment servicing.

Essential Skills

• Experience with pumps, generators, diesel engines, and air compressors.
• Proficiency in diesel maintenance and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for mechanical and electrical issues.
• Ability to perform preventive maintenance on various equipment.
• Familiarity with hydraulic systems and engine repair.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Must have personal tools for the job.
• Willingness to start in the shop with potential to transition to a Road Tech role after 6 months.
• Comfortable with rotational on-call responsibilities.

Work Environment

The work schedule is from 7 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday. After transitioning to a permanent role, there will be rotational on-call duties. The position initially requires working in the shop environment with a potential shift to fieldwork.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Coral Springs, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $32.00/hr.
