Overview
Finance Manager (Onsite) role at Alila Ventana Big Sur, An Alila Resort. This is an on-site role that partners with resort leadership to maintain the financial health of a luxury, sustainability-focused property perched above the Pacific Ocean in Big Sur. Alila Ventana Big Sur is a Forbes 4-Star property and recipient of two MICHELIN Keys. The Finance Manager will manage daily finance operations, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis in compliance with Hyatt standards, Alila values, GAAP, and applicable regulations.

Salary & Benefits
Salary Range: $70,000$90,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Masters degree or CPA preferred)
- Minimum 35 years of progressive accounting or finance experience, preferably in hospitality or luxury resorts
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards
- Demonstrated experience with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Proficiency in financial systems and ERP software; experience with Hyatt systems a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large datasets
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to partner effectively with operational leaders
- High attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and commitment to deadlines
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity
- Commitment to environmental stewardship and alignment with Alila Ventana Big Surs sustainability practices
Physical Requirements & Additional Qualifications
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods, including navigating resort property to attend meetings and perform duties
- Occasionally lift, carry, or move up to 20 pounds
- Visual acuity and manual dexterity for working with financial systems and documents
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required for commuting to Big Sur
- Flexible schedule to meet business needs, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
