Maintenance Technician

to perform maintenance and repairs on machines used on the Injection Molding and Thermoforming production process.

The base hourly rate of pay starts at $23 per hour or more, depending on experience Additional compensation: $1.00 per hour 2nd shift differential As a Maintenance Technician, you will

Operate various hand and power tools to perform maintenance work and repairs on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics components efficiently and in order of priority Carry out assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) tasks Communicate with prior/oncoming shifts regarding any maintenance priorities and status updates Conduct daily maintenance checks and complete daily maintenance tasks Operate a computer to maintain data on maintenance and completed repairs Train new and existing team members on different functions of the work area to ensure all can perform all tasks properly; share knowledge and best practices to help aid efficiency and productivity Perform all job functions in compliance with safety guidelines and company policies/procedures Work overtime as business demands Keep work area in a clean and orderly condition while cleaning and maintaining equipment as needed Communicate clearly and work as part of a team Perform other duties as assigned Qualified Candidates will

Have at least 2 years of experience performing maintenance on mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and/or robotics systems; knowledge of Plastics Injection Molding and/or Thermoforming Have a high school diploma or equivalent Have a trade school certificate or associate degree in Industrial Maintenance is preferred, not required Have basic math, measuring and computer skills Be able to read and understand blueprints, schematics and machinery manuals Knowledge of machine maintenance related to plastics injection molding and/or thermoforming Possess a high degree of attention and be detail-oriented to prevent accidents, injuries, and quality issues Have great attendance and punctuality Be an excellent performer; deliver high-quality results consistently Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and a positive attitude Must be able to read, write, and understand verbal and written work orders/instructions in English Be authorized to work in the United States Why you'll love working at WeatherTech Direct
