We boast one of the largest inventories of modern lifting equipment in North America, in excess of 1000 units.We're winning a better way.At Sterling Crane USA, you truly get the best of both worlds --the dynamic opportunities that come with being part of a growing, U.S. -based company, combined with the strength, stability, and long-term vision of being part of Marmon and Berkshire Hathaway.The CDL Driver will safely and efficiently deliver equipment between locations and jobsites while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.**Duties and Responsibilities*** Perform pre and post trip inspections on equipment and vehicles and notify appropriate team members, if any damages or defective equipment has been found* Assist team members with setup and breakdown of cranes / rigging equipment as needed* Properly load and unload equipment to trailer in accordance with company safety standards* Working knowledge of FMCSA regulations* Adhere to Sterling Crane standards**Required Qualifications & Skills*** High school diploma or equivalent.* Minimum 3 years commercial driving experience preferably in-town, congested areas* Successfully pass post offer drug and physical screens and have a background that meets company requirements.* Maintain valid A CDL with DOT physical examination (medical card)* Clean MVR and successfully pass background, drug screen and pre-employment physical* Strong work ethic with ability to follow directions.* Team player with excellent communication skills.* Ability to work overtime, weekends, and/or holidays.* Strong safety mindset and ability to follow procedures* Prior experience with rigging or crane-related work is beneficial but not required.**Physical Requirements*** Employee will be required to have the capability to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit and lift daily.* Ability to pick up, lift, carry, and move freight/crane parts up to 65lbs.* Most be able to work in all weather conditions while wearing appropriate PPE.* Will use arms and hands to signal, grab, hold, turn, push, and pull objects and or materials.Following receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
