Accountant
Are you detail-oriented, process-driven Accountant, eager to make a direct impact in a global organization? This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a stand-alone position, enjoys problem-solving, and can balance accuracy with adaptability. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge in tax, payroll, AR/AP, and GAAP accounting, as well as excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with both local and global colleagues.
This role is based in Tigard, OR.
- Lead local tax compliance efforts, including multi-state sales/use tax.
- Oversee US payroll compliance and partner with third-party payroll providers to ensure accuracy.
- Support accounts receivable, collections, and accounts payable functions to ensure accurate invoicing, timely processing and excellent customer service and support.
- Identify and implement process improvements, including automation and system enhancements.
- Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent relevant experience with strong GAAP.
- Proven background in tax and payroll compliance, as well as AP, AR, and collections or general bookkeeping.
- Strong Excel skills and familiar with Avalara, Vertex, Thomson Reuters, or similar tax platforms.
- Experience working with third-party providers (tax, payroll, auditors).
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a professional office environment.
Salary: $70K-80K/year + Bonus (DOE)
