Position: Marketing Communications Manager
Location: Westlake Village, California
Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 depending on experience
Our client is a well-established manufacturer of spectroscopy instruments and consumables with a strong global reputation and a trusted network of distributors across the US. They are seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and highly organized Marketing Communications Manager to join their growing team at their US headquarters. This is a new position that will help shape and strengthen the company’s brand, ensuring every campaign reflects its reputation for quality and innovation.
The Position
As Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll be at the heart of cross-functional collaboration, working closely with internal teams and an external marketing partner to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and to the highest standards. You’ll coordinate stakeholders, manage deliverables, and support the rollout of integrated marketing campaigns that drive measurable business results.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Projects with Impact: Plan, coordinate, and execute marketing communications projects end-to-end, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Drive Collaboration: Partner with internal teams and external vendors/partners to deliver seamless campaigns.
- Own Campaign Delivery: Manage campaigns across multiple channels (print, digital, social, email, etc.), ensuring consistency of messaging and branding.
- Guide Creative Development: Work with creative teams to develop, review, and finalise engaging marketing materials (brochures, ads, email campaigns, and more).
- Keep Projects on Track: Create and manage project timelines, identify risks, and keep deliverables moving forward.
- Manage Budgets: Oversee budgets, monitor expenses, and deliver campaigns within agreed financial parameters.
- Champion Quality: Ensure all deliverables are polished, accurate, and aligned with brand guidelines.
- Report & Optimise: Track project performance, share insights, and highlight solutions for improved results.
- Continuously Improve: Analyse past campaigns, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
What You’ll Bring
- Project Management Expertise with tools like Asana, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate across teams and with external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset with strong organisational skills.
- Familiarity with marketing platforms, digital media, and CMS tools.
- A touch of creative awareness; basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite is a plus (not essential).
