$45.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Are you an experienced Director of Human Resources looking for a contract opportunity in the Dallas, TX area? Our client is seeking a skilled HR leader to oversee payroll, benefits, employee relations, and recruiting while driving a positive workplace culture.

Director of Human Resources Role

As the Director of Human Resources, you will lead the HR function and manage a team including an HR Generalist and Talent Recruiter. In this role, you will:

  • Oversee payroll preparation, processing, and distribution.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health, life, workers’ compensation, STD, LTD, and AD&D.
  • Lead recruitment, selection, onboarding, professional development, and promotion efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to leadership and staff on employee relations, performance management, and organizational development.
  • Develop and coordinate new employee orientation and employee engagement programs.
  • Maintain accurate personnel files and HR documentation.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, empowerment, and accountability across the organization.

Director of Human Resources Background Profile

  • 7+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
  • ADP experience required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field required
  • Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, or Business preferred
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems, HRIS, and employment law
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
