La Boulangerie is currently hiring for an enthusiastic Barista to join our Front of House team! Our ideal candidate is professional, energetic, and has a basic knowledge of beverage service.

La Boulangerie is looking for passionate individuals who love food and have a genuine heart for hospitality! We are a charming neighborhood bakery and café that is known for our handcrafted pastries, breads, and delicious sandwiches made from locally sourced products.

Responsibilities:

• Welcoming customers and accepting orders and payments
• Prepare beverage items
• Establish consistent communication with FOH, BOH, and management
• Provide attentive service while anticipating needs
• Maintain bar cleanliness and organization
• Build and maintain good rapport with regular customers
• Offer menu insight and recommendations when appropriate

Skills and Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar high-volume establishment
• 2+ years of experience is preferred
• Must have a personable demeanor, friendly personality, and a great smile

Physical Demands:

• The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently lifting up to 50 pounds, sitting, standing for 4 to 8 hours, bending, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
