Overview

Kforce has a client in Jupiter, FL seeking a highly analytical and communicative Business Analyst with proven experience in data mapping, SQL, and stakeholder engagement. This role bridges the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring data integrity and alignment across systems while driving strategic initiatives through clear, actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and leadership to gather, analyze, and document business requirements
• Perform detailed data mapping between source and target systems to support data migration, integration, and transformation efforts
• Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, analyze, and validate data across multiple databases
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with development teams to ensure successful implementation
• Facilitate meetings and workshops with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and clarify requirements
• Develop and maintain documentation including process flows, data dictionaries, and business rules
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in current business processes and data structures
• Support testing and validation efforts to ensure data accuracy and system functionality

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in data-intensive environments
• Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and validation
• Hands-on experience with data mapping, data migration, or ETL processes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of data governance and data quality principles

Pay and Benefits

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
