Overview

Business Analyst - Information Technology, Full time. Clearance: Secret. Location: multiple locations considered. Travel: Up to 10% local. This role involves leading SAP Financial and Material Management implementations to support NAVSEA/NMMES programs.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate directly with an Agile Development Team, including client leadership, Developers, Designers, and additional Agile Business Analysts.
  • Decompose and document large initiatives into smaller features and user stories.
  • Write user stories that clearly describe the desired business outcome with non-prescriptive – but testable – Acceptance Criteria to enable the best solution.
  • Manage the backlog based on priorities and assign user stories based on capacity.
  • Present documented features and user stories to stakeholders for feedback.
  • Triage and resolve potential user incidents involving end users.
  • Facilitate and lead meetings with various internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide advice and recommendations on process best practices.
  • Analyze business or systems processes to identify improvements.
  • Interact and communicate with end-users, management, vendors, and IT personnel.
  • Produce functional design specifications based on user requirements.
  • Maintain knowledge of Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS) applications (e.g., SAP).

Qualifications

Required:

  • Knowledge of Agile business analysis techniques including interviewing, brainstorming, problem discovery, and MVP identification.
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders at varied levels.
  • Experience translating complex business needs into user stories.
  • Ability to test user stories against acceptance criteria.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to ask probing questions to business team members.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience using JIRA and/or Azure DevOps.
  • 3+ years of Business Analyst experience.
  • US Citizen.

Desired:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred.
  • SAP S/4HANA experience.
  • Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain.

Pay Range

There are factors that influence final salary, including location, contract labor categories, prior experience, skills, education, and certifications. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for learning and development. The range mirrors national considerations for this position.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $63,300-$129,700
