Shipping Coordinator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Shipping Coordinator for a company based in Dalton, GA. Focused on Zero Energy Homes that promote energy independence and significantly reduce carbon emissions. This initiative is creating powerful synergy in the global residential energy market, and were looking for a detail-oriented, proactive Logistics Coordinator to help bring this vision to life. Pay Rate: $17.50-22.00 per hour Schedule and Hours: Swing Shift 12-hour shift 08:00pm- 8:00am Shipping Clerk Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate daily logistics operations including transportation, inventory, and shipping for incoming and outgoing materials. Manage and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and compliance with internal and external requirements. Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams (manufacturing, procurement, and planning) to streamline supply chain processes. Monitor and maintain inventory levels, identifying shortages or delays, and taking proactive steps to resolve them. Prepare shipping documents, reports, and records in line with company and regulatory standards. Assist in implementing logistics strategies that reduce costs, increase efficiency, and support the companys sustainability goals. Resolve logistical challenges quickly and efficiently, keeping all stakeholders informed. Support warehouse operations, including inbound/outbound movement and inventory control systems. Oversee forklift operator activities, including maintaining daily sign-off sheets, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and coordinating break schedules. Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory management software, and shipping platforms.
