HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Chemical Cleaning Project Manager (Industrial Services) to work at a customer location in Corpus Christi, TX and to join a safety‑conscious team. This role is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site, and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion. The Chemical Cleaning Project Manager serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.

Responsibilities

  • Must always come to work fit for duty.
  • Instructs, provides feedback, and directs and assists crew in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices, and procedures. Enforces Company employee policies and may remove an employee from the job when required.
  • Accountable for the overall safety, quality, and success of the project assigned.
  • Leads crew, assists crew, and trains new employees in completion of the job duties in accordance with all company and client policy.
  • Reads job procedure and ensures all required equipment is available and operational prior to starting job.
  • Complete and review Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and all safety paperwork.
  • Operate and set up all necessary cleaning equipment such as pumps, hoses, and circulators in accordance with operations job schematics, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Help install, repair valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and all other external and internal equipment.
  • Monitor all equipment during circulation for integrity and efficiency.
  • Adhere to all safety policies and practices, including wearing personal protective equipment and maintaining PPE.
  • Must have the ability to work safely in and around heavy machinery in loud, hazardous, hot, and cold industrial environments.
  • Inspect equipment and general work area prior to starting any job.
  • Correct deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, or that are inconsistent with client requirements and policies.
  • Communicate updates with clients.
  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment when required.
  • Complete and turn in all appropriate paperwork daily.
  • Train Supervisors, Technicians, and Operators on‑the‑job in equipment operation, service line processes, and necessary paperwork.
  • Operate all necessary equipment in the chemical cleaning service line in accordance with operation, training, and safety procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry. Prior project management and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in project management.
  • Strong knowledge of operating equipment used in service line.
  • Ability to comprehend the English language, written and verbal.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment is preferred.
  • Current certification as an authorized Company driver.
  • CDL with endorsements preferred.
  • High school diploma/GED or greater and/or equivalent experience.
  • Able to read and interpret PFDs, technical procedures, and drawings.
  • Able to work with chemicals and with a flexible schedule (days/nights, and/or shift schedules).
  • Strong understanding of circulation methods, flows, pressures, etc., used for chemical cleaning services.
