Overview

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is looking for a Chemical Cleaning Project Manager (Industrial Services) to work at a customer location in Reserve, LA. This team member is responsible for two or more crews by planning, leading, organizing, and coordinating the daily operations of the service line crew. This includes responsibility over proper operation of equipment, driving operational efficiencies at the work site and ensuring accurate documentation related to the job is completed in a timely fashion. The Chemical Cleaning Project Manager serves as a representative of HPC-Industrial in creating a continuous working relationship with clients/customers.

Base pay

$90,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

  • Must always come to work fit for duty.
  • Instructs, provides feedback, and directs and assists crew in performance of job duties to complete work in accordance with client requirements and Company policies, practices, and procedures. Enforces Company employee policies and may remove an employee from the job when required.
  • Accountable for the overall safety, quality, and success of the project assigned.
  • Leads crew, assists crew and trains new employees in completion of the job duties in accordance with all company and client policy.
  • Reads job procedures and ensures all required equipment is available and operational prior to starting the job.
  • Completes and reviews Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and all safety paperwork.
  • Operates and sets up cleaning equipment (e.g., pumps, hoses, circulators) in accordance with operations job schematics, training, guidelines, and safety procedures.
  • Maintains and repairs valves, caps, hoses, pump gaskets, and related equipment.
  • Monitors equipment during operation for integrity and efficiency.
  • Adheres to all safety policies and wears required PPE; maintains PPE for personal use.
  • Works safely in heavy machinery environments and around hazardous conditions.
  • Inspects equipment and general work area prior to starting any job.
  • Identifies and corrects deficiencies that may cause accidents, injuries, lost productivity, or nonconformance with client requirements and policies.
  • Communicates updates with clients.
  • Performs preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Completes and submits all appropriate paperwork daily.
  • Trains Supervisors, Technicians and Operators on-the-job in equipment operation, service line processes, and necessary paperwork.
  • Operates all necessary equipment in the chemical cleaning service line per procedures and safety guidelines.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills And Experience

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience within the industrial cleaning industry. Prior project management and supervisory experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills, and ability in project management.
  • Strong knowledge of operating equipment used in the service line.
  • Ability to comprehend the English language, written and verbal.
  • Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting equipment preferred.
  • Current certification as an authorized Company driver; CDL with endorsements preferred.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED or greater and/or equivalent experience.
  • Able to read and interpret PDFs, technical procedures and drawings.
  • Able to work with chemicals.
  • Able to work with a flexible schedule, days/nights, and/or shift schedules.
  • Strong understanding of circulation methods, flows, and pressures used in chemical cleaning services.
