Job Summary:

Voda Cleaning and Restoration is seeking a dedicated and experienced Crew Chief to oversee our Carpet Cleaning and Water Restoration projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in water restoration, carpet cleaning, and leadership, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to industry standards. This role involves hands-on work, as the crew chief will assist in the field with carpet cleaning and restoration, providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to emergency calls and maintain 24/7 availability.
2. Represent the company positively to staff and clients through effective communication and presentation.
3. Supervise all cleaning jobs, including carpet, tile & grout, upholstery, air duct, and floor cleaning.
4. Manage water damage, mold remediation, fire & smoke damage, and biohazard projects.
5. Follow IICRC guidelines to ensure quality standards.
6. Communicate effectively with customers, providing updates and timelines.
7. Maintain rapport with clients, address complaints, suggest improvements, and recommend additional services.
8. Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of vehicles and equipment.
9. Assess damage, determine scope of work, and attend to it.
10. Implement best practices aligned with the company's mission and goals.
11. Lead and monitor team performance to ensure timely and quality work.
12. Train and coach technicians according to company standards.
13. Perform other duties as assigned.

Abilities:

• Availability for on-call and emergency work.
• Handle conflict, stress, and crises professionally.
• Maintain physical fitness and health suitable for demanding work.
• Lift 75-100 lbs comfortably.
• Strong organizational, time management, and customer service skills.

Qualifications:

• Preferred Certifications: IICRC certifications in WRT, CCT, AMRT, and OSHA 30.
• 2-3 years of experience in water restoration and carpet cleaning.
• Proficiency with project management and estimation software such as Xactimate, CRM, and scheduling tools.
