About the Role

The Company is seeking a hands-on Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all accounting activities, ensuring GAAP compliance, and leading the preparation of both internal and external financial reports. This role also involves direct oversight of the bank\'s asset and liability management, including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and capital requirements. The successful candidate will be a key member of the executive team, influencing the strategic and financial direction of the bank, and will be expected to maintain financial transparency, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor\'s degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA strongly preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in a banking or financial institution. A background in asset and liability management, particularly with experience in interest rate risk, is essential. The CFO will also be involved in risk management, regulatory interface, and strategic financial leadership, including annual financial planning and budgeting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in a regulator-facing role, experience with new technologies, and a strong understanding of financial systems and forecasting tools. Experience with a sponsor bank or consumer lender, as well as in fintech lending programs, is highly valued.
