Expanding food manufacturer is recruiting a talented Quality Assurance Manager for one of their processing plants in the Western USA. We are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who will collaborate with the Production group and create a food safety and quality culture that is world class.

Your focus as the Quality Assurance Manager would be to supply leadership in the plant and encourage and advance a positive change using your influence and leading by example. Your education, certification, & experience will help you develop and maintain the plant systems already in place and provide new methods & processes to assure that finished goods are food safe and meet specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide plant-level leadership to improve quality and food safety culture; collaborate with Production to foster world-class standards.
• Develop and maintain plant QA systems; implement new methods and processes to ensure finished goods are food safe and meet specifications.

Minimum requirements

• Bachelor's degree required in Food Science, Biological Sciences or related field
• At least 5 years of supervisory experience in a food processing environment
• Prefer experience in dairy manufacturing
• HACCP certification
• SQF Practitioner certified or obtain within first 90 days
• PQCI certification
