About the Role
Charles Jacquin et Cie Inc., a leading producer of spirits and cordials, is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Demand Planner to support our demand planning and forecasting processes. This entry-level role is designed for someone with strong analytical skills who is eager to learn the fundamentals of supply chain and forecasting in a fast-paced, highly regulated industry. The Demand Planner will help align production with customer demand, manage seasonality, and support the launch of new innovations within the Jacquins portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing and maintaining demand forecasts for core, seasonal, and innovation SKUs across the Jacquins portfolio.
- Collect, validate, and analyze sales and shipment data to improve forecast accuracy.
- Update and distribute weekly and monthly demand reports and dashboards.
- Partner with Sales and Operations to incorporate promotions, holiday seasonality, and regulatory (TTB) considerations into forecasts.
- Track forecast accuracy, highlight variances, and escalate issues to management.
- Support Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings with reporting and scenario analysis.
- Collaborate with Production Planning to ensure inventory levels are aligned with demand.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives within demand planning and reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
- 02 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, sales operations, or an analytical role (experience in CPG, food & beverage, or spirits industry a plus).
- Strong Excel skills required; familiarity with ERP systems and reporting tools a plus.
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
