American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a night shift ICU position requiring California RN licensure and advanced cardiac life support certifications.Job Details•Work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a hospital setting,•Patient population includes critically ill adults requiring acute care,•Night shifts: 3x12 hours from 18:45 to 07:15,•Every other Saturday and Sunday are required for weekend coverage,•Holiday shifts may be required and only one holiday off will be approved per contract,•Epic charting experience is preferred,Job Requirements•Active CA RN license required at the time of consideration,•Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or American Red Cross required,•PALS certification required within 180 days of hire,•TNCC certification required within 180 days of hire,•NIHSS certification required within 90 days of hire,•Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience required,•Must be able to complete lab work within 3-5 days of signing,•Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay,•Epic EMR experience preferred,Additional Information•Duties include assessment, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of direct patient care in the ICU,•Responsibilities include patient and family education, transitions of care, and interdisciplinary collaboration,•Return staff or travelers must have been gone for at least one year to return as a traveler,•Orientation includes 1-5 hours of online module training as part of onboarding,•Only one holiday time-off request will be approved during the assignment,•Scrub/dress code details will be provided during orientation,•Candidates must disclose any background history or DUIs prior to consideration,),•hash,:• ,
