Title: Inventory Analyst Location: Arlington, TX Shift: Monday-Friday, 8AM-5PM Job Decription: The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing, analyzing, and optimizing spare parts and materials inventory to support maintenance operations. This role ensures that critical equipment and assets are supported with the right materials at the right time, minimizing downtime, controlling costs, and improving overall reliability of the maintenance department. The analyst will track inventory trends, develop reporting tools, maintain accurate records, and coordinate with maintenance planners, procurement, and vendors to achieve optimal stock levels. Key Responsibilities Inventory Management & Analysis o Maintain accurate records of spare parts, tools, and materials used in maintenance activities. o Analyze usage trends, lead times, and stocking strategies to balance cost with availability. o Monitor and reconcile inventory discrepancies through regular audits and cycle counts. o Identify slow-moving, obsolete, or overstocked items and recommend corrective actions. Data & Reporting o Develop and maintain inventory dashboards, KPIs, and reports to support decision-making. o Track and report on inventory accuracy, turns, service levels, and critical part availability. o Provide data-driven recommendations for process improvements. Collaboration & Support o Work closely with maintenance planners and supervisors to forecast spare part needs based on preventive and corrective maintenance schedules. o Partner with procurement to source parts, manage vendor relationships, and negotiate lead times. o Support maintenance technicians with timely availability of required materials. Process Improvement o Implement best practices for spare parts management and inventory control. o Support CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) data integrity for parts, equipment BOMs, and maintenance planning. o Assist in developing inventory-related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Qualifications Education: o Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Industrial Engineering, or related field preferred. o Equivalent work experience may be considered. Experience: o 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or maintenance support. o Experience with CMMS, ERP, or SAP systems preferred. o Background in manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or facilities maintenance highly desirable.
