Our client, a leading global tech company is seeking a High Touch Engineer to join their team. As a High Touch Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting critical network operations for a Premier customer. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude, excellent communication skills, and a strong team-player mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: High Touch Engineer

Locations: Can reside in either Columbus, OH ; Houston, TX ; Jersey City, NJ ) - 2-3 days per week onsite.

n

Pay Range: $55 per hour

What's the Job?

    n
  • n

    Provide escalation support and resolve critical network outages and sophisticated network issues.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Relay detailed knowledge of customer networks and operational procedures to the Cisco support team.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Prepare RCA recommendation reports that include root causes, next steps, and corrective action recommendations.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Assist in identifying areas where training is needed for team members.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Lead technical documentation initiatives and maintain relationships with customer technical teams and management.

What's Needed?

n
    n
  • n

    3-4 years of experience in data center technologies.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Proficiency in Nexus, ACI, XR, and CCNP in Route Switch or equivalent experience.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to troubleshooting.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Confident and clear communication skills for customer-facing interactions.

    n
  • n
  • n

    Ability to conduct informal knowledge transfer sessions and provide Cisco product training.

  • n
