This role offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) / Mental Health Technician. You will work collaboratively across various departments, providing direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
- You will be accountable for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies, standards of practice, and physician orders.
- Effective communication is essential, so you will promote open dialogue about patients' status, changes in condition, and needs with the licensed nurse.
Essential Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program.
- Registration in the State of Vermont as a Licensed Nursing Assistant is mandatory.
Experience Requirements
- At least one year of experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant is necessary for this position.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred, demonstrating your ability to perform basic nursing care skills.
- Certifications in Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) and Pro-Act are required within six months of hire, along with Basic Life Safety (BLS).
