You will work collaboratively across various departments, providing direct and indirect nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.You will be accountable for delivering high-quality patient care in accordance with established policies, standards of practice, and physician orders.Effective communication is essential, so you will promote open dialogue about patients' status, changes in condition, and needs with the licensed nurse.Essential QualificationsA high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with completion of a 75-hour Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation program.Registration in the State of Vermont as a Licensed Nursing Assistant is mandatory.Experience RequirementsAt least one year of experience as a Licensed Nursing Assistant is necessary for this position.Previous experience in an acute care setting is preferred, demonstrating your ability to perform basic nursing care skills.Certifications in Management of Aggressive Behaviors (MOAB) and Pro-Act are required within six months of hire, along with Basic Life Safety (BLS).
