Location: Anaheim, California Job type: Contract • Salary: $65 - $68 per hour • Work hours: 8am to 5pm • Education: Bachelors Job summary: The role involves performing acceptance and design verification testing, data collection and analysis, and detailed troubleshooting of production units in accordance with engineering guidance and testing procedures. Responsibilities
Complete acceptance and Design Verification testing, burn-in and temperature testing as per procedures and guidance from Engineering. Complete all necessary Acceptance Test Forms. Collect data manually and electronically using data acquisition equipment and create charts and tables using Excel or other software. Detailed troubleshooting of new production units. Completion of all internal travelers and work order information to document the complete test process. Review engineering and manufacturing documentation for complete accuracy of unit completion. Follow company inspection guidelines to conduct critical non-routine visual, dimensional, mechanical, electrical tests and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials. Performs Acceptance Test Procedure/Plan (ATP) and verifies apparatus and equipment for conformance to electrical, mechanical and other requirements using various testing equipment. Preferred: Universal Refrigeration Technician – EPA 608. Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: BS in Mechanical Engineering or related field Excellent computer skills Equipment skills – Data Acquisition Devices, Amp Clamp, Multimeter, TC Reader Good teamwork and ability to work with minimal supervision Highly analytical and detail-oriented Effective oral and written communication skills Steel Toe Boots Experience
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Experience with testing machinery or equipment (2 Years) Electrical troubleshooting skills (2 Years) Hands-on work with pumping systems or similar (2 Years) Data acquisition equipment (2 Years) Additional Information
