Overview
The Interim HR Manager will work closely with the HR Director and broader HR team to manage benefits, compliance, open enrollment, and leave programs while contributing to overall HR strategy and operational excellence. This role will also provide hands-on support to employees, partner with brokers, and ensure compliance processes and systems are well-maintained.
Worksite Location:
Hybrid — 3 days/week onsite in Minneapolis, MN.
Salary:
Hourly rate between $55-$65/hr, DOE.

Roles & Responsibilities
Lead open enrollment planning and execution, including employee support and training
Partner with the HR Director and broker on benefits-related initiatives
Manage LOA processes and prepare for Minnesota Paid Leave
Ensure HR compliance across systems and processes (HRIS cleanup, I-9s, 401k, HSA, etc.)
Collaborate with the HR Director and team on ongoing HR projects and priorities
Serve as a trusted resource for employees and leadership in HR matters
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Generalist in a small HR team setting
Strong knowledge of benefits administration and leave management
Experience with compliance-related responsibilities (I-9s, HRIS data integrity, retirement plans, etc.)
Familiarity with Minnesota Paid Leave preparation preferred
Comfortable working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite)
Strong interpersonal skills, employee support orientation, and ability to partner across HR and leadership teams
Experience with HiBob HRIS is a plus, but not required
