The Operations Analyst role is a great opportunity for individuals interested in a career in financial operations, whether starting out or growing further. These positions are part of the Client Relations Group (CRG) teams supporting key client operational processes such as Onboarding, Oversight, Billing, New Account and Client Activities. It offers broad exposure to the operational side of investment management and a solid foundation for future growth in financial operations. It's well-suited for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, with good problem-solving skills and the ability to identify processes that may be improved. Opportunities in multiple locations - Seattle, Boston, & Alpharetta - across various teams, including: Client Activities: Provide functional support to portfolio managers, traders, and portfolio administrators for Parametric portfolios and order management systems; ensure daily activities (client transactions, account maintenance, portfolio data reconciliation, and portfolio implementations) are completed timely and efficiently. New Account Activities: Establish prospect accounts in Parametrics portfolio accounting system (APX) for portfolio managers to run optimizations on client securities and cash. Onboarding: Ensure daily new account onboarding activities, including verification of all account documentation, archiving, funding coordination, and setting up account feeds and other client activities. Oversight: Perform verification checks on team's data entries to ensure accurate processing before daily trading deadlines, ensuring all account documentation is archived. Billing: Understand billing attributes and client relationships that drive revenue, client invoicing, and review of new/changed/terminated accounts. Responsibilities
Work with internal and external stakeholders in a professional manner. Research and resolve issues quickly and with urgency and accuracy; escalate to team leaders when appropriate. Communicate regularly with internal and external contacts to resolve issues, discuss improvements, convey status and confirm closure. Identify areas for improvement and implement agreed-upon solutions to support continuous improvement. Complete assigned activities, cross-train when time allows, become a subject matter expert in your area. Ensure accurate documentation demonstrating adherence to policies and procedures. Participate in opportunities for ad-hoc project work to further learning, competency and career growth. Job Requirements
Primary Skills
Bachelors degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, strong proficiency in Excel. Ability to manage high volumes of data under tight deadlines. Strong organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented and process-driven with a focus on accuracy. Critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills.
