This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Enterprise architecture and solutions across the organization. The Enterprise Architect will collaborate with multiple departments to ensure seamless integration, functionality, and alignment with the company’s strategic goals. The role may be remote 100% within the Eastern or Central time zones.

Responsibilities

Ensure the architecture framework aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements. Evaluate emerging technologies and trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage, including AI/ML and data. Collaborate with technology and business leaders to develop and maintain a technology strategy and roadmap that supplements the overall business strategy for CSCA/CSCI. Establish roles and responsibilities, value framework, accountability model, engagement model, technology roadmaps, and metrics reporting. Provide tactical support for key projects to ensure functional, scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions. Implement and maintain an industry-based enterprise architecture framework (e.g., TOGAF, COBIT) for structured technology planning and governance. Develop and implement best practices for infrastructure architecture to enhance operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to optimize applications rationalization and reduce costs. Technology and Tools Management

Apply and promote the use of enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, COBIT) to ensure robust, scalable, and secure technology solutions. Develop a phased approach to applications rationalization that minimizes risk and maximizes efficiency. Design and implement scalable new technologies in collaboration with Business Technology Leaders. Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry changes, and vendor landscapes by researching publications, attending conferences, and participating in advisory boards. Project Leadership

Guide technical decision-making on architecture from project inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement infrastructure architecture strategies. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and ensure successful outcomes. Compliance

Contribute to governance policies and ensure regulatory compliance. Conduct regular reviews to ensure architecture processes meet Perrigo standards. Review and approve technology projects to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices. Ensure architectural standards are followed and that solutions comply with relevant regulations and security requirements. Team Leadership and Development

Manage and mentor a team of architects and other technical professionals. Develop architectural deliverables, share knowledge, and enforce best practices. Establish and enforce technology and AI governance policies aligned with Perrigo’s objectives. Mentor a team of architects, fostering continuous learning and improvement. Foster a collaborative and innovative culture within the architecture team. Experience Required

At least 7-10 years of experience in managing architects and product managers. Proven track record managing large-scale projects; demonstrated expertise applying existing, new, and emerging technologies to support business strategy. Familiarity with SDLC, IT services management, IT infrastructure and operations, and EA frameworks such as TOGAF and COBIT. Advanced knowledge of technology architecture with proven design skills. Strong knowledge of SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, microservices, design patterns, and systems integration. Understanding of waterfall and agile development, ALM practices, and data governance principles. Strong knowledge of networking, computing platforms, storage, databases, security, middleware, and related infrastructure. Ability to identify risks and implement mitigation strategies; proven leadership and mentorship capabilities. Experience managing vendors/subcontractors and contract development. Broad knowledge of current industry trends and new technologies. Experience with Microsoft Visio, Project Online, Team Foundation Server, PowerPoint, Excel, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, SharePoint. Skills

Technical: Proficiency with Cisco, Azure, TOGAF, SOA, Salesforce, SAP technologies; ability to produce and maintain architectural standards and diagrams. Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for effective infrastructure design. Project Management: Excellent skills with a track record of delivering infrastructure architecture projects. Communication: Strong written and verbal communication with stakeholders. Leadership: Proven ability to lead and influence teams. Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industry-specific infrastructure challenges and best practices. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field plus 15 years of Enterprise Architecture experience; Master’s degree or TOGAF Certification preferred. Benefits
