Chief Executive Officer – Growing Commercial/Structural Construction Services Company-Private Equity, 78903. Our client is a highly profitable, private equity-sponsored Commercial/Structural Construction Services enterprise operating from multiple locations in the Southeast. The company is seeking a motivated and hands-on CEO to lead this expanding enterprise through substantial growth over the next 3-5 years with a focus on profitability, process improvement, and best-in-class service and execution. The CEO will have full P&L ownership, establish scalable processes, ramp up project delivery capabilities, ensure accountability, and integrate fulfillment across a multi-location acquisition base. The role emphasizes improving visibility across the organization, professionalizing operations, and driving significant organic and acquisitive growth initiatives. Experience aligning with equity stakeholders’ cadence, goals, and expectations and leading an organization through a liquidity event is highly valued. Responsibilities
Lead expansion into new markets and develop a growth strategy that increases profitability and operational efficiency. Own P&L and establish scalable processes across multiple locations and acquisitions. Improve visibility and accountability across all functions; professionalize operations and project delivery. Drive organic and acquisitive growth initiatives, including integration of acquisitions and ramping up delivery capabilities. Collaborate with an experienced private equity partner; align with equity expectations and prepare the company for potential liquidity events. Lead efforts in business development, including selling to governmental entities (federal, state, municipalities) and private clients, and manage relationships with general contractors. Qualifications
Experience leading a middle-market Commercial/Services or specialty contracting company (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical installation, facilities maintenance, fire and security, commercial building, or infrastructure projects). Track record of growing a company with private equity backing or interest in equity incentives. Ability to sell and manage business with government and private sector clients; strong leadership and execution skills across multi-location operations. Experience aligning with equity stakeholders’ cadence and expectations; ideally demonstrated success in a liquidity event. Compensation & Structure
