An innovative and reputable law firm is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Corporate Legal Administrative Assistant to join the dynamic team in their Chicago office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting attorneys within the firm’s fast-paced Corporate Practice Group. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and thrives on managing complex transactional work. Prior corporate transactional experience is required, and those who enjoy being a vital part of high-level legal deals will find this role especially rewarding. This full-time position offers a hybrid schedule (3 days in-office) and a competitive compensation package: $65,000–$85,000 base salary, bonus eligibility, and paid overtime. Key Responsibilities
Prepare, format, and polish legal and corporate documents with precision Coordinate execution of agreements and manage signature packets and filings Handle conflict checks and assist with new matter openings Manage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate logistics Track critical deadlines and ensure nothing slips through the cracks Book travel and process expenses for busy attorneys Support billing tasks, including time entry and invoice prep Help prepare polished materials for meetings and presentations Be a go-to resource for general administrative and operational support Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years of legal administrative experience in corporate transactional work Top-notch attention to detail and stellar proofreading skills Confidence working independently while juggling multiple priorities Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with document management and e-signature tools is preferred Professionalism, strong communication skills, and a solutions-oriented mindset Comfort working in a hybrid environment (3 days onsite) after training
