This role within the CIC department supports the Director of Loan Markets, North America, in driving strategic growth across a diverse client base. The position involves structuring and executing syndicated loan transactions, coordinating with internal teams and external syndicate partners, and preparing market-facing materials. It includes cross-border collaboration with US and UK colleagues, market analysis, and participation in underwriting forums. Sector coverage spans Financial Sponsors, Institutions, Corporates, and Project Finance. The role offers opportunities to contribute to broader initiatives such as talent development, diversity, and responsible business practices. Responsibilities

Support the Director, Loan Markets in driving business growth and executing sector plans across a diverse client base. Collaborate with US and UK teams on capital markets and distribution initiatives. Assist in presenting and supporting loan transactions at the Underwriting Forum, ensuring compliance with structuring, pricing, and policy standards. Help negotiate, structure, price, and complete loan syndications, supporting sector objectives. Coordinate with internal collaborators and external syndicate partners throughout the syndication process. Prepare confidential materials, term sheets, and lender presentations for syndicate review. Conduct market soundings to assess transaction risk before launch. Support primary loan purchases or sales in line with bank requirements. Develop sector-specific marketing materials for Loan Markets. Supervise market trends and investment activity; prepare market updates for clients and partners. Evaluate terms and participate in syndicated loan facilities aligned with current market conditions. Attend client and bank meetings, investor days, and industry conferences as required. Align with Group and regulatory requirements; report non-compliance as vital. Engage in special projects such as junior talent recruitment, diversity initiatives, and responsible business practices. Qualifications

Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience with coursework in Finance or Economics preferred. 5+ years of prior investment/corporate banking/credit experience. Strong internship experience will be valued. Internal candidates may also apply. Proficient with financial modelling and financial analysis. Solid understanding of banking products, including capital and financial markets, credit, risk management, debt and corporate finance advisory. Series 63 and 79 required (within 120 days of being in role). Key Skills and Knowledge
