Reporting to the Social Media Manager, the position's primary responsibilities are to lead all social media marketing efforts, including research, strategy and implementation of emerging forms of digital media, social media, and paid online advertising. Responsible for building, maintenance and engagement on all social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, Snapchat, and new/emerging platforms. Participate in planning, development and implementation of social media strategies, content calendars, and tactical plans; ensure messages, measurements and content are relevant to the audience. Coordinate the execution of social media photography and video production. Develop, execute and leverage mobile and social media efforts to grow market share and expand awareness. Understand current trends, technologies and advancements in social, mobile and online review sites. Measure and report performance of all marketing activities and assets against goals; identify trends and insights and optimize the plan based on these insights. Extend marketing initiatives and editorial content into relevant external publications (news sites, blogs, etc.). Support advertising team to ensure alignment between digital and traditional media communications. Maintain Customer Service Accountability reports and provide reporting related to online customer sentiment; collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues. Monitor online reviews on sites such as Trip Advisor, Yelp, OTA sites, etc. Work with Internet Marketing to integrate social media into online brand campaigns. Write content for company blog and social platforms. Research local music trends to ensure the property’s relevance in the music community and with consumers. Monitor and adjust local music play-lists and other Vibe initiatives, adapted to time of day and clientele; reflect current Billboard and Top 40 trends weekly. Evaluate and adjust overall guest experiences based on interactions, industry trends and corporate initiatives; customize group business experiences. Execute and monitor the Sound of Your Stay brand program at the property level. Participate in onboarding new staff to Hard Rock culture and contribute to ongoing training and development focused on music, memos, culture and the spirit of Rock ’n Roll. Meet internally to communicate vibe programs, implement new products, and discuss opportunities and events. Be responsible for community engagement and involvement; support other key marketing efforts as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelor’s in hotel management, hospitality, marketing or business administration. A minimum of three (3) years of experience in a similar position or the equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 3 years of direct marketing, advertising and brand marketing experience including digital, mobile and emerging campaigns. At least 1 year of social media/web 2.0 experience as an online marketer. Full knowledge of music industry (national and local) and lifestyle hotel products. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects without being overwhelmed. Knowledge of mobile, emerging and social media and its application to advertising. Experience leveraging social media platforms for advertising campaigns. Understanding of major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat, YouTube, blogs, etc.). Excellent oral and written communication skills; attention to detail; ability to communicate in English. Ability to adapt to voice and vernacular of employee and consumer-facing social channels. Strong customer service skills and interpersonal skills to work with employees, vendors and outside organizations. Professional appearance and demeanor; able to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays. Work Environment
The role requires standing, walking, using hands, reaching, speaking and hearing; ability to lift up to 50 pounds; vision requirements. Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced, often crowded and noisy; may involve secondhand smoke and general public exposure. Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English. Closing
