Role summary

About the role:

As a Systems Administrator, your team will maintain the critical server infrastructure that allows us to advance the way the world pays, banks and invests. You'll be responsible for deploying new technologies as well as ensuring system performance. About the team:

FIS Managed IT group provides support and implementation solutions to customers throughout the U.S. Our engineers work to provide support, design solutions, hardware systems, and provide top-tier customer service. This specific role will focus on customers in the Miami, Florida region. What you will be doing

Provide Wintel support for the hosted systems. Support escalations from engineers for day to day and projects. Server as the subject matter expert of customer environments in your region. Provide technical leadership and mentoring for other engineers on your team. Manage and maintain customer server environments both in our hosted platform and on-premise (remotely). Manage and maintain Citrix Virtual Apps and ADC (NetScaler). M365 Migrations and Administration. Azure Administration. Server builds and application deployments. Audit remediations for workstation and server environments. Work with various teams and managed incident management teams to resolve support escalations and outages. Plan configuration for installation of solutions. Proactive maintenance of the hosted systems. Expand platforms as necessary and refine processes for better environment performance.

What you will need

Bi-lingual in English & Spanish is preferred. Proven experience performing systems engineering and administration with large scale systems. Extensive VMware and virtualization skills; VMware certification is preferred but not required. Experience with PowerShell scripting to manage hosted infrastructure. Experience with server hardware, e.g., Hypervisor or ESXi server builds. Extensive experience with MS Windows Server 2012, 2016 and 2019. Experience with Active Directory integration. Strong independent analytical troubleshooting skills to identify issues across multiple business areas and technologies. TCP/IP, network monitoring and tools; strong technical writing principles and practices. Strong customer focus, ownership, urgency, and drive. Understanding of SSL, Internet protocols (SMTP, LDAP, DNS) and other networking protocols. Experience with deploying, troubleshooting, and supporting multi-tier applications. Excellent communication and follow-up skills with attention to detail. Professional and responsible attitude with the ability to work without supervision. Experience working within SLAs, change management processes, and an ITIL v3 framework. Fluent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.

Added bonus

Experience in Linux Administration is a plus but not required. Azure Foundations and Administration. M365 Administration Experience (tenant management and hardening, Security, Intune, etc.). CCNA. Other Tools Experience: SCCM, WDS, WVD, iBoss, CrowdStrike, IIS, BigFix, ServiceNow, etc.
