Overview
Microsoft 365 Copilot is a groundbreaking productivity tool that leverages the power of large language models, user data, Microsoft Graph, and the web to drive productivity. The Office AI team develops Copilot experiences in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint and supports teams across Microsoft. The team owns the infrastructure and base AI platform that enables orchestration of Copilot workflows to put powerful AI capabilities at the user’s fingertips. This role is for an AI-first, entrepreneurial Principal Product Manager to help innovate and deliver new Copilot Experiences in the Microsoft 365 Copilot suite. The role is based in Redmond, WA. You will balance creativity, curiosity, technical expertise, and a passion for AI to drive projects to successful completion. You will collaborate with data scientists, AI researchers, engineers, designers, and product managers to shape ambiguous projects into compelling experiences. You will drive the product vision and strategy with clear evaluation criteria to verify efficacy and model tuning, while ensuring privacy, safety, and security of data. You will engage in stakeholder management and data-driven decision making aligned with the company’s goals. Lead a team through ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative products. Drive product development with a team of engineers and designers. Establish a shared vision across the company by building consensus on priorities and guiding product execution. Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products. Understand Microsoft’s strategic and competitive position as part of the Microsoft 365 Copilot initiative and deliver industry-leading products. Maximize speed, effectiveness, efficiency, and learning in a dynamic environment where creativity is the norm. Identify opportunities for new areas and create trusted partnerships within the team and across Microsoft. Collaborate with cross-company leaders to ensure successful delivery of the product roadmap.
