Responsibilities

The Project Executive is expected to have prior experience with business development and will be actively involved in the company\'s overall business development efforts. Project Executive is expected to secure and deliver a certain amount of work. Project Executive will be a hands-on leader who manages work and builds a team (Project Manager(s), Assistant Project Manager(s), and Project Engineer(s)) as approved by the President to deliver projects. Responsible for their group\'s Profit & Loss (P&L) performance. Be a technical and administrative resource to employees within the group. Overall responsibility for delivery of their group\'s projects. Contribute to the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures. Develop their own book of business pertaining to their group. Lead pre-construction services for their group. Oversee all estimates/bids for their group and participate in project buyout. Lead project kickoff meetings with the General Superintendent and/or Project Superintendent. Allocate projects to staff and oversee the group\'s project management process for all projects. Oversee submittals, RFIs, and closeout processes. Make recommendations regarding staffing, developmental needs, position evaluations, and compensation. Lead and enforce the corporate safety program. Develop and maintain mentoring and training programs for employee development and growth. Coordinate project mobilization, demobilization, and equipment needs. Collaborate with accounting to resolve project cost issues. Visit job sites and attend subcontractor progress meetings to stay informed on status and issues. Attend regular Owner meetings. Assist Project Managers and Superintendents with issue resolution and requests. Perform monthly project reviews with each Project Manager/Team member. Qualifications

Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field 15+ years of commercial construction experience at a General Contractor Minimum 10 years of experience as a Project Manager supervising project teams Extensive experience with commercial tenant improvements, including P&L responsibility (life science, biotech, advanced technology, healthcare, and/or pharmaceutical project experience strongly preferred) Advanced experience with commercial construction estimating, means and methods, accounting (income statements, project administration, LEED certifications), and industry practices Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project Benefits
