RESPONSIBILITIES : Responsibilities
Run a full desk with sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding of top talent to fill mission critical positions Represent SpaceX to candidates with professionalism, pride, and enthusiasm Collaborate in teams while maintaining a high degree of autonomy; take initiative and drive tasks to completion Meet with client groups to discuss headcount, requisitions, hiring strategy, and interview feedback Screen candidates who apply to requisitions Source candidates, including those not actively looking Discuss screened candidates with client groups and recommend top candidates for interviews Give tours to candidates before onsite visits Attend interviews with client groups as an additional evaluation resource Manage the offer process, including initiating background checks, negotiating packages, and extending offers Some days involve multiple onsite interviews and candidate experiences; other days focus on building candidate pipelines. The pace is fast, and the goal is to attract, organize, and manage the flow of highly talented individuals. Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of recruiting experience; or associate degree and 2+ years of experience; or 3+ years of professional recruiting experience in lieu of a degree Preferred Skills and Experience
2+ years of technical recruiting experience 2+ years of SGA recruiting experience Experience with in-house recruiting Experience with high volume recruiting Experience recruiting electrical, mechanical and aerospace engineers Experience recruiting skilled labor Strong tenure with demonstrated success in recruiting roles Full life cycle recruiting experience, from sourcing to closing Comfort with reviewing, evaluating and reporting on recruiting data Ability to distinguish top talent across levels Expertise in non-standard recruiting methods (cold outreach, networking events, targeted sourcing campaigns, etc.) Comfortable interfacing with hiring managers including director and VP level technical leaders Ability to build strong relationships with hiring managers and candidates Ability to present candidates accurately and influence decisions without dictating Ability to multi-task and operate with minimal direction while being a team member Additional Requirements
Available to work extended hours and weekends as needed Based in Hawthorne, CA (Los Angeles area); onsite full-time; hybrid/remote work not offered Compensation and Benefits
Pay range: Technical Recruiter/Level I: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year; Technical Recruiter/Level II: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year Your actual level and base salary depend on job-related knowledge, education, and experience. Base salary is part of SpaceX total rewards, which can include stock or stock options, discretionary bonuses, and stock purchase opportunities. Benefits include medical, vision, and dental coverage, a 401(k) plan, disability and life insurance, paid parental leave, and paid time off. Employees accrue paid vacation and holidays; eligibility for paid sick leave follows company policy. A recruiting bonus plan may apply.
