Estimator / Project Manager
role; We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented
Estimator / Project Manager
to join our team. This role is responsible for winning new work, preparing competitive and accurate estimates, and managing awarded projects from start to finish.
Key responsibilities include building strong client relationships, strategic preconstruction planning, managing all project documentation, and ensuring project profitability through disciplined cost and schedule control.
Success in this role requires strong time management, technical proficiency in estimating and project management software, and a solid foundation in math, accounting, and construction processes. Effective communication and the ability to resolve project challenges efficiently are critical to the roles success.

$90,000$120,000

Key Responsibilities
Estimating & Bid Management
Collect and organize all relevant bid documents: drawings, specifications, scopes, schedules, etc.
Analyze project documents thoroughly to develop accurate quantity surveys and estimates
Build component-based estimates that reflect complete project scopes
Tailor proposals to client-specific needs and follow up to secure feedback and future work
Organize bid folders on the company network for team-wide access
Project Setup & Execution
Transition projects from estimating to execution by extracting:
Schedule of values
Stocking lists
Specification-compliant submittals
Labor and production budgets
Progress schedules
Subcontractor and supplier buyouts
Lead pre-construction meetings to align field teams with project goals and risks
Project Management
Oversee day-to-day operations ensuring work is executed per contract documents and quality standards
Monitor and control:
Labor, material, and subcontractor budgets
Job cost projections
Change orders and additional scope negotiation
Maintain clear documentation and manage ongoing project communication (RFIs, COs, drawing updates)
Support multiple clients and projects simultaneously with a high level of availability
Conduct thorough project closeouts with all costs and extras captured
Knowledge & Experience
5+ years of experience in commercial construction; experience with rain screens or exterior envelope systems strongly
Proficient with estimating and project management software tools
Solid understanding of construction estimating techniques, bid strategy, and project lifecycle management
Familiarity with construction drawings, codes, and technical specifications
Personal Attributes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
