Wispr Flow
Founding Growth Analytics & Data Lead
Wispr Flow, San Francisco, California, United States, 94199
Overview
Founding Growth Analytics & Data Lead at Wispr Flow
Base pay range $150,000.00/yr - $185,000.00/yr
About Wispr Wispr Flow is making it as effortless to interact with your devices as talking to a close friend. Voice is the most natural, powerful way to communicate — and we’re building the interfaces to make that a reality.
Today, Wispr Flow is the first voice dictation platform people use more than their keyboards — because it understands you perfectly on the first try. It’s context-aware, personalized, and works anywhere you can type, on desktop or phone.
Dictation is just our first act. We’re building the interaction layer for your computer — a system that’s capable, understands you, and earns your trust. It will start by writing for you, then move to taking actions, and ultimately anticipate your needs before you ask.
We’re a team of AI researchers, designers, growth experts, and engineers rethinking human-computer interaction from the ground up. We value high-agency teammates who communicate openly, obsess over users, and sweat the details. We thrive on spirited debate, truth-seeking, and real-world impact.
This year, we've grown our revenue 50% month-over-month and with our latest $30M Series A, this is just the beginning.
The Role As we scale, we’re investing in data as a growth lever — and we’re hiring our first analytics lead to help make Wispr a more measurable, intelligent, and optimized business. This position will establish the function that organizes and understands our exploding data across devices, events, ads and pixels.
THE ROLE (based in San Francisco only)
We’re looking for a hands-on, strategically oriented analytics lead to help us connect the dots between product usage, marketing performance, and revenue. You’ll build our reporting infrastructure (almost from the ground up), lead critical analysis projects, and make sure everyone from growth marketers to founders has the insights they need to move faster and make better decisions.
This is a foundational role — perfect for someone who loves building data systems, solving real business problems, and driving growth with insights.

Work with engineering and acquisition to implement reliable tracking systems
Clean and structure user, event, and attribution data for use across marketing and product analysis
ETL ownership: Airbyte/Fivetran → ClickHouse, dbt models, data-quality tests
SLA + schema-versioning
Build Reporting & Dashboards
Create self-serve dashboards to track KPIs across acquisition, activation, retention, and ARR
Build dashboards for marketing campaigns, CRM flows, funnel performance, and cohort behavior
Maintain core weekly/monthly reporting used by execs and board
Drive Growth Through Product Analytics
Analyze product usage to identify drop-off points, power features, and behavior patterns tied to activation, retention, and upsell
Work closely with Product and Growth to define key events and build funnels that reveal user intent and friction
Segment users by behavior, plan, and cohort to surface opportunities for personalization, targeting, and lifecycle campaigns
Quantify the impact of new features and product changes on core KPIs using robust experiment design and post-launch analysis
Use PostHog, Segment, Clickhouse and event-level data to tie product usage to revenue outcomes and recommend product-led growth strategies
Partner with Lifecycle and Product Marketing to help translate insights into smarter onboarding, nudges, and retention plays
Help shape our ICP by identifying which user types deliver the most value — and why
Run Ad Hoc Analyses to Guide Decisions
Answer questions like: “Where are we losing users in onboarding?” “What’s the true CAC by channel?” “Which features correlate with higher retention?”
Surface non-obvious insights that lead to growth or product changes
Support A/B test analysis and performance forecasting, owning Statistical Design and Post-Experiment Analysis
Partner on Strategy and Optimization
Work with marketing to optimize ad spend, LTV, retention, and conversion
Reverse-ETL activation (Hightouch/Census) so insights actually power Customer.io, Meta CAPI, Google audiences, other platforms
Help identify customer segments or personas that perform differently and respond more to marketing initiatives
Support product and CX teams in understanding churn drivers and upgrade patterns
Support Internal & Board-Level Reporting
Build and maintain materials for board decks, investor updates, and fundraising
You Might Be a Fit If…
5+ years' experience organizing and analyzing data to drive growth
Experience at a high-growth B2C SaaS, with PLG exposure and a track record of surfacing insights that drive growth
First or early data hire, comfortable doing both the plumbing and the analysis
Fluent in SQL and proficient with a range of analysis tools
Experience building dashboards in Looker, Metabase, Mode, Tableau, or similar (we use Metabase, Posthog and Baremetrics)
