MetLife The Team You Will Join Based in Whippany, New Jersey, MetLife Investment Management (MIM) is a large institutional investor and asset manager with extensive experience in real estate and related asset classes. The Real Estate Investments group manages commercial mortgage and equity investments for global clients and operates through multiple regional offices. The Real Estate Capital Raising role collaborates with senior Real Estate leadership and Institutional Client Group (ICG) to support platform offerings, sales strategies, and new product development. The role involves marketing, client engagement, and driving lead generation for Real Estate debt and equity product offerings. The Opportunity The Head of Real Estate Capital Raising will collaborate with the Real Estate senior leadership on platform offerings and sales strategies with the ICG sales team. This specialist will partner with the Head of Real Estate Client and Product Solutions to be the main liaison between Real Estate asset sectors and ICG to drive sales leads. The role provides subject matter support across all Real Estate asset classes, develops strategies with ICG to market existing products and potential new investment strategies, and participates in marketing/pitches to current clients and prospects. The role involves engaging with the broader Real Estate platform, ICG, and other MIM business partners to position MIM Real Estate’s offerings to high-potential prospects and support growth goals, including penetrating new capital channels for Real Estate product expansion. Key Responsibilities

Actively manage Real Estate product marketing processes, including in-person meetings with prospects; coordinate with ICG to leverage institutional client and consultant relationships. Assess market receptivity and client demand; provide feedback to optimize Real Estate offerings and adapt marketing materials to changing markets. Determine investor suitability and appetite for existing and potential offerings; develop detailed marketing plans and manage investor communications to support growth. Maintain knowledge of competitive products and trends and advise on enhancements to Real Estate strategies. Provide subject matter expertise for responding to RFI/RFPs, DDQs, and ad hoc client questions. Promote MetLife Investment Management and Real Estate by participating in industry events and networking with current and potential clients. What You Need To Succeed (Required Qualifications)

20+ years of Real Estate experience, preferably with diversified debt and equity experience in Portfolio Management, Acquisitions/Loan Origination, or Asset Management. 10+ years of Real Estate debt and equity sales experience with proven ability to raise capital across Real Estate risk strategies. Deep institutional client (primarily US pension plans) and Real Estate consultant relationships. Strong teamwork and ability to create strategic plans at large institutions. Effective commercial, communication, and presentation skills. BA required and MBA preferred. Additional Skills

Strong negotiation skills Ability to present to senior management The expected salary range for this position is $240,000 to $300,000. This role may also be eligible for annual short-term incentive compensation and stock-based long-term incentives. All incentives and benefits are subject to the applicable plan terms.
