The Assistant General Manager serves as a role model for the rest of the staff as a leader in hospitality skills and guest service, assisting the General Manager in all FOH duties. Your responsibilities will include: Oversee daily floor operations with a focus on exceptional guest service and smooth execution of service standards Lead, train, and motivate staff while managing scheduling, communications, labor costs, and performance development Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed in a timely basis Monitor food and beverage quality, presentation, and consistency to ensure an excellent dining experience Handle nightly reports, cash and tip reconciliation, and overall compliance with company procedures and policies Resolve guest and employee concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining a positive and professional atmosphere Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and ongoing training to build a strong, service-driven team culture Your Qualifications
Minimum 2+ years as an Assistant General Manager for a high volume ($10M+) fine dining restaurant, or 2+ years as a General Manager for a high volume ($6M+) fine dining restaurant Passionate about hospitality, guest service, and team development through mentorship and feedback Proficient in financial management, including P&L oversight and understanding of business operations Skilled in labor cost control and staff scheduling to align with business needs LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY – NO RELOCATION Equal Opportunity
