Director of Human Resources
to oversee and advance our HR function across the Northeast and Southeast regions. This regional leader will drive HR compliance, operational excellence, and employee engagement while supporting a large, diverse hourly workforce. The Director will serve as a trusted partner to regional leadership, ensuring alignment between HR initiatives and business priorities while fostering a culture of accountability, inclusion, and high performance. As the Director of HR, you will implement people strategies that strengthen culture, enhance workforce development, and mitigate compliance risk across multiple sites. You will provide hands-on leadership to a regional HR team, advise on complex employee relations matters, and deliver scalable HR programs that support frontline associates and leadership alike. Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HR team supporting hourly associates and management across multiple sites in the Northeast and Southeast regions. Oversee and enforce compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring accurate documentation, reporting, and risk mitigation. Provide expertise and oversight in employee relations, investigations, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution with a focus on consistency and fairness. Partner with operations leadership to support workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, scheduling, and retention strategies for hourly employees. Implement HR policies, procedures, and training to strengthen compliance, safety, and workplace culture. Support total rewards strategy execution at the regional level, ensuring equitable application of compensation, benefits, and recognition programs for hourly associates. Drive engagement initiatives that build morale, reduce turnover, and promote career growth among hourly employees. Serve as a strategic partner to regional leaders to align HR practices with operational and organizational goals. Willing and able to pass extensive pre-employment screening process Qualifications
5+ years of progressive HR leadership with a focus on compliance, employee relations, and frontline/hourly workforce support. Proven success managing HR functions across multi-location, high-volume operations. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or HR certifications (SHRM, HRCI) preferred. Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local labor laws, with a demonstrated track record of managing HR compliance programs. Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills with the ability to influence and partner at all levels of the organization. Seniority level
