About the Role : We are looking for a passionate

Social Media Manager

to drive our social media strategy and execution across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, while ensuring consistency across secondary platforms. This is a strategic yet hands-on role for a creative professional who can seamlessly blend content creation, community building, and performance optimization while leading a fast-paced social media team. You are mission-driven, collaborative, and results-oriented, and you want to work at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and some of the hardest problems in healthcare. The ideal candidate brings strong social media graphic design skills and demonstrates expertise in persuasive, audience-appropriate writing, with proven experience in community engagement, influencer partnerships, analytics, and team management. Youre attuned to social media trends, as well as when its most appropriate to engage with them. Youre comfortable navigating the unique restrictions healthcare companies face on social media, and youre motivated to turn those challenges into opportunities for growth. Willingness to participate in on-camera short-form video and video editing skills are required. Responsibilities Collaborate with the social media director and coordinator to develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube, with consistency across secondary platforms to support organizational goals. Own the social media content calendar and production schedules, ensuring clarity across directives, timelines, and deliverables. Guide video content development across platforms with coordinator, participating in on-camera filming when needed. Oversee and collaborate on visual content development (graphics, carousels, video assets) that make complex medical information accessible. Ensure all content is medically accurate, accessible, empathetic, and aligned with brand guidelines, reviewing and approving videos, posts, and captions before publication. Community management: Oversee community management with the social media coordinator, building authentic relationships with patients, advocates, and healthcare professionals. Personally manage sensitive or complex interactions, ensuring clinical accuracy and empathy. Collaborate with clinical teams on sensitive inquiries and medical content review. Influencer and affiliate partnerships: Collaborate with the department director to identify and cultivate relationships with creators and advocates within chronic illness, disability, and neurology patient communities. Manage end-to-end influencer campaigns from strategy development to performance analysis. Negotiate partnerships that align with our brand values and patient-first mission. Analytics & optimization: Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content strategy and engagement. Generate actionable insights from social media data to inform broader marketing initiatives. Report on key metrics and performance to executive leadership. Team leadership: Manage and oversee Social Media Coordinator, ensuring alignment with strategy and consistent execution. Provide strategic guidance and professional development opportunities for team growth.

Requirements

Basic Requirements 4-6 years of social media management experience with demonstrated success in growing brand presence and engagement. Experience successfully growing a nascent or early-stage brand in social media. Proficiency in social media management and analytics tools (e.g., Meta Business Manager, Google Analytics, native platform insights, Iconosquare or similar). Advanced knowledge of design & video editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Suite, Descript, Riverside, etc). Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt tone for diverse audiences. Experience managing influencer partnerships and campaign performance. Personal attributes: deep respect & empathy for patient experiences, interest in medical communication, detail-oriented, adaptable to evolving priorities in an early-stage company.

Preferred Requirements Understanding of accessibility best practices and inclusive design principles. Background in healthcare, wellness, or mission-driven organizations.

Compensation & Work Arrangement

Compensation: This position will have an annual salary, plus equity and benefits. The annual salary range is $95,000-$120,000. The total compensation varies based on qualifications, skill level, competencies, and work location. We believe that remote work and in-person work have their own advantages and disadvantages. Employees in hybrid roles are required to be in the office 2 days per week (Tuesdays & Thursdays) for the full 8 hours of a typical business day. Our office is located at 205 East 42nd Street in New York. This role is open to being remote, but hybrid is preferred. About Neura Health
